You will find in this part the definition of the terms used in this document.
Webshop : the fashioneer.eu online store and any other online store, URL or application designated by Destock Discount
Interaction : use of a functionality of the website such as the “Wish List”, subscribing to the newsletter, creating or connecting to an fashioneer.eu account , participating in auctions, use Chat, place an order.
Webshop visitor: any person visiting the website without interacting with the website.
Webshop customer : a customer who interacts with the website.
Account: the customer account created by any person on the Webshop and facilitating the process of placing an order.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have certain rights such as the right of access (to obtain the list of personal data concerning you in the possession of fashioneer.eu or the right to be forgotten ( so that your data is deleted by our servers or, at least, is no longer used by our services).

3.1 Collection of your personal data through our Webshop
We use cookies and other similar technologies on our website. The list of cookies used on fashioneer.eu is detailed in part 4.
In this part, we explain in detail what type of data we collect, how we collect it, what we use it for and the legal basis authorizing us to collect/use your data. When you participate in an auction , you will also need to create a nickname, in addition to the information necessary to create an account. Other customers will be able to see your nickname.
This pseudonym will be used in combination with data relating to your customer account as well as any orders you may have placed. This data will be used for the following purposes:
- Management and organization of auctions;
- Fight against fraud, abuse or unintentional use of this service.
When you create your Wish List on our Webshop and add products to your Wish List without being logged into your fashioneer.eu account, they will remain in your Wish List for 30 days.
The following data may be collected, whether or not you are logged into your fashioneer.eu account and depending on your cookie settings:

You can give your opinion on the Webshop products that you have purchased via My Account . You cannot review a product that you have not purchased.
When you leave a review, the following data is collected so that the order and the review can be associated with your email address.

If you have any questions or complaints regarding the fashioneer.eu service or a product you are interested in or purchased from our webshop, you can call us, send us an email or chat with us. You can find information to contact us on the dedicated page of our Webshop. It is also possible to use our online complaint form. Recording interactions
Interactions with our customer service may be recorded for training, evaluation or quality control purposes of our services. If a telephone hold is recorded, you will be informed when you contact our customer service by telephone and you can refuse the recording. The recorded data will only be used for the above-mentioned purposes.
Recorded telephone conversations are stored and secured so that they are not accessible to unauthorized persons and are never kept for longer than necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.
Service provided by third parties
Destock Discount uses external parties for some of its services, including part of its Customer Service.
Newsletters
You can subscribe to different newsletters, both general and personal. Personal newsletters are sent based on, for example, your personal data and order history, so that we can send you more relevant newsletters. If you wish to receive free digital newsletters sent by fashioneer.eu and its partners, we ask you, among other things, for the following information:

You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time by logging into your account and unsubscribing. You can also use the link included in each newsletter allowing you to unsubscribe.
3.4 What are your rights?
The legislation relating to the protection of personal data provides that you have the following rights:

- Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information that you believe is inaccurate.
- Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal data in certain circumstances.

- Your right to data portability – You have the right, in certain circumstances, to request that we transfer the personal information you have provided to us either to another organization or to you.
No payment will be required from you for the exercise of your rights. If you make a request, we must respond to you within 30 days.
3.5 Processing of your personal data
We expect you to also contribute to the protection of your personal data by keeping your fashioneer.eu account login information (email address and password) secret. Never share this information with anyone.
Destock Discount does not store your personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which your information is used. However, they may be kept for longer due to legal requirements (such as a retention obligation). The retention period of certain data depends on the nature and purposes for which they are processed. The storage period may therefore differ depending on the use made of your personal data.
This confidentiality and cookie management policy does not apply to third party sites linked or not to our Webshop. Furthermore, the Privacy and Cookies Policy also does not apply to data collected by companies such as Google. You can adjust your preferences yourself in your Google account. Check their privacy policy for this .
When vidaXL transfers your data to a third party, vidaXL cannot be held responsible for the way in which a third party processes your data. fashioneer.eu always advises you to read the privacy policy and cookie statements on the relevant online sales sites and with the relevant companies.
4. USE OF COOKIES
4.1 What are cookies?
Like many other online sales sites, fashioneer.eu uses cookies and files similar to cookies and technologies such as “web beacons” (hereinafter “Cookies”).
A cookie is a small text file which is sent by the Webshop page via your browser, it is then saved on the hard drive of your computer, telephone or tablet.
Cookies are, for example, used to save passwords and personal settings so that you do not have to enter them the next time you visit the Webshop.
In this section we will explain to you which cookies we use, how we use them and for what purpose. For the optimization of our own and third-party advertisements, the following data, among other things, is collected:

- Products viewed
- Order value
- How did the link get to the Webshop

4.1.1 Functional cookies
Destock Discount uses cookies, such as Google Analytics, to remember the parameters chosen and the data entered during your visit to our site. These cookies make it easier to navigate our site because certain data does not need to be re-entered each time.
In addition, Destock Discount may use cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the Webshop on any type of device used (including tablets and smartphones).
4.1.2 A/B testing cookies
Destock Discount constantly tests its Webshop to be able to offer the best user experience. For this purpose, Destock Discount uses A/B testing cookies developed by third parties. With A/B testing, there are two different versions of the site, or parts of the site, presented to visitors to determine which one works best. This cookie determines which version of the Webshop you see.
4.1.3 Site analytical cookies
On the site, cookies are used to keep track of the pages you have visited. This information is collected, among others, by the web analysis services Google Analytics, Pingdom, Hotjar, Tag Manager, TV Squared, Speedcurve, ContentSquare, Zendesk, Zoovu and Clarity.
These web analytics services use cookies to analyze how visitors use the site. Cookies are used to record information about visitors, such as the time the visit took place or whether the visitor visited the site and through which site the visitor ended up on the web page.
To optimize the user and customer experience of our site, Destock Discount uses the Hotjar web analysis service. Hotjar can record mouse clicks, movements and scrolling activities. Hotjar also collects information about the web pages visited, actions taken, the country you are in, the device you are using and the browser you are working with. Hotjar does not collect any personally identifiable information from you that you do not voluntarily enter on the site. Hotjar also does not track browsing behavior on sites that do not use its services. Hotjar’s privacy statement contains a detailed explanation of how Hotjar is used: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy . You can always choose not to have your information collected by Hotjar when you visit our site, go to the “Opt Out” page on the Hotjar site and click “Opt Out Hotjar” to do so.
The information generated by your use of our site is, in most cases, sent to the servers of the relevant web analytics services. The Web Services use this information to evaluate how you use the Site, to create reports on Site activities, and to provide other services relating to your use of the Site. vidaXL uses the aggregated data from the reports to optimize the Webshop.
Pingdom is a website performance monitoring tool that helps us identify errors and other performance issues. Pingdom does not collect any personal data but only anonymous data on site loading times and loading orders.
Google Analytics is a tool for analyzing website behavior. It does not collect personal data. IP addresses are masked before being stored by Google. Google Analytics collects and analyzes your browsing behavior, which allows us to identify impediments to the process of our site and to resolve potential problems our customers may encounter. This allows us to understand how our customers interact with our site and we can use this information to improve our site.
Google Tag Manager is a tool that manages the placement of our cookies. It allows us to quickly change how information is sent and received (e.g. we build third-party connections through this tool and block irrelevant cookies).
TVSquared is a tool we use to measure the brand image of our offline providers. It collects a limited set of browsing behavior data and combines it with our offline brand data to measure the performance and effectiveness of our brand strategies.
Clarity is a similar tool to Hotjar (mentioned above) in that it specializes in analyzing user behavior in more depth. It measures clicks on the different elements of our pages and collects user session recordings (selected randomly and anonymously). This allows us to better understand potential issues on our site. Using this tool allows us to find flaws and improvements to plan.
Destock Discount refers to the privacy policy of the relevant web analytics services, which describes how these third parties process your data when their products and services, including web analytics, are used.
4.1.4 Affiliate cookies
In France, we use affiliate cookies which are also used by our suppliers.
4.1.5 Retargeting cookies
The site uses retargeting cookies to display relevant advertisements to repeat visitors to our site. These cookies allow us in particular to establish a profile of your browsing behavior and therefore to offer you advertisements corresponding to your interests. Advertisements are distributed on advertising partner sites and/or on social networks. Cookies in this category are Google Ads, Bing Ads, Criteo and IntelliAd.
4.1.5.1 Criteo
We also use Criteo retargeting cookies. For more information on the data collected by Criteo, we refer you to the Criteo Privacy Policy .
4.1.5.2 Google Ads & Analytics Remarketing
Destock Discount uses Google Ads & Analytics remarketing services to display ads on third party sites (including Google) to people who have recently visited Destock Discount. This may mean that we show, for example, advertisements to a visitor who has not completed their order or who has just completed their order. Ads may be text or display ads within the Google Display Network or RTB House.
All data collected is used in accordance with Google’s privacy and cookie policy. You can set your advertising preferences via Google Ad Preference page .
4.1.5.3 Third-party site retargeting cookies
On third-party sites (such as online marketplaces), retargeting can also occur. Destock Discount cookies are then used to show relevant adverts to recent visitors to these other online shopping sites.
4.1.5.4 Advertising and analysis on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
Destock Discount uses Pinterest Ads and Facebook Ads remarketing services to serve ads on third-party platforms (including Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram) to previous visitors to Destock Discount. This may mean, for example, that we serve ads to a visitor who has not completed their order or who has just completed their order. We share information with Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram from cookies set in website domains, whether or not you have a Facebook account or are logged in. Their purpose is to personalize content (including ads), measure ads, generate analytics and provide a safer experience, as detailed in this Facebook Cookie Policy . All data collected (email address, gender, location, first and last name, telephone number, date of birth, IP address) is used in accordance with Destock Discount’s privacy policy and cookie statement and the Facebook privacy policy. You can change your advertising preferences via Facebook Ad or Instagram Ad preferences .
4.1.5.5 RTB House

4.1.6 Social network cookies
On the site you can use (for example) the social media buttons of Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+.
As soon as you visit a page of the site, your browser connects to the relevant social network. Through this, the provider obtains information about which pages of the site you have visited with your IP address.
If you are logged in to Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Pinterest or Google+ during your visit to the Webshop, your visit may be linked to your account. If you use the buttons, for example by clicking on the Facebook “Like” symbol, the relevant information is sent and stored by the respective provider via your browser.
The purpose and scope of the data collected via the social media buttons, as well as the further processing, further use and duration of storage, are determined exclusively by the providers. We invite you to consult their respective privacy policies.
4.1.7 Price comparison cookies
The site uses different advertising methods including price comparison sites. These websites aggregate product listings from different websites and display them in a way that the customer can easily compare sellers, prices and service levels.
To determine the performance of these price comparison sites, we send confirmation of the purchase (if made through them) and purchase information (product quantity, total transaction amount) to these partners. This allows us to monitor their performance and adjust them accordingly. They do not collect personal data.
4.1.9 Data to recommend and optimize the customer experience
To provide you with a personalized and optimized experience on Destock Discount, we use general customer behavior and statistics.
When you view a product on fashioneer.eu, you will also see similar or related products listed under “you might also like” or “recommended combinations”. These recommendations are related to products that you are currently viewing or have recently viewed. Additionally, you can see recommendations based on statistical data from customers who have previously purchased the item you are viewing. These recommendations are not personalized and are announced to all customers who view the product.
4.2 Accepting and declining cookies
When you enter the fashioneer.eu site, a window informing you about the use of cookies appears at the bottom of the page of our site. You can choose to: (i) accept all cookies (essential cookies, analytical cookies and marketing cookies), (ii) personalize the settings, or (iii) refuse all cookies that are not essential to the operation of the website.
Functionally essential cookies cannot be refused as they are strictly necessary to provide the site (for example to enable us to retain items in your basket, to retain your language preferences, etc.).

If cookies are completely disabled, you may not be able to use all functions of our site. If you use different devices in multiple locations, you should ensure that each browser is configured according to your cookie preferences.
